Terre D'Ange

Kushiel's Dart is based in an alternate medieval France. Many of the place names are based on historical versions of the names. Terre D'Ange is divided into 7 provinces to represent the angels who left the One-God to follow Elua. Each province is ruled by a scion of that province's angel. The ruling family resides in the City of Elua and are his descendants. Cassiel claimed no place as his own and remained always at Elua's side.
