Yeshuites / Jews

Picture
Yeshuites are followers of the One-God and Yeshua (Jesus). They sometimes refer to Elua as "The Misbegotten" and the D'Angelines as "The Misguided". They do not hold faith in Elua or the angels that followed him. They share a bond with members of the Cassiline Brotherhood because the Cassilines are followers of Cassiel, who kept with the One-God's commandments. Many Yeshuites live in Terre D'Ange and are welcomed there, although they are shunned in some other countries.
Yeshuites share many similarities with the Jewish people. They follow the commandments of the One-God and believe in Jesus. They speak and write in "Habiru", which sounds very much like Hebrew. Most in the story are described as having long side lock hair. They are known as scholars and doctors. They don't follow the D'Angelines beliefs or way of life. They view sex with modesty and as something that should be shared by a husband and wife. However, they don't condemn or look down upon the D'Angeline way of life. They willingly treat Phedre when she is hurt. Also, once she becomes known as a scholar, they accept her among their ranks. She even has a Yeshuite tutor live with her to teach her their language.
